Douglas Hager Obituary

Douglas Hager, 86, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, formerly of Sykesville, MD and Fruit Cove, FL died Friday, November 28, 2025 at his home. Born December 6, 1938 in Van, Boone County, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Leo Fred and S. Annabelle Ray Hager. He was the husband of the late Linda Hager who died September 10, 2023. They had been married for 58 years. Doug retired from CSX Railroad as an Auditor. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Airforce, where he was an Airman 1st Class Ground Radio Operator. He enjoyed going to the gym, listening to music, watching NCIS, NASCAR, and C-17 aircraft out of the 167th Airwing in Martinsburg, WV Doug is survived by daughter Kelli Pappas, son Brian Hager, grandchildren Nicholas, Christopher and Sarah Pappas and great grandchildren Sophia and Oliver Pappas. He was preceded in death by sister Doris Ferguson. Graveside services will take place Friday, 2:00 PM in Lake View Memorial Park, 2724 Liberty Road, Sykesville.
