Elizabeth Teresa Hofmann, 91, passed away on November 22, 2021, at her daughter's Pasadena home. Born on January 19, 1930, in her parents' Baltimore home, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Cecelia (Skane) McEnroe. She was the cherished wife of 69 years to the late Leroy Raymond Hofmann, who predeceased her December 2019. "Betty" was a graduate of St. Ambrose Elementary School (where she met her beloved "Roy") and the Institute of Notre Dame. She began her career as a medical records secretary at The Seton Institute, continuing to work as she and Roy raised their girls. Upon moving to Carroll County fifty years ago, she continued her career at Springfield Hospital Center as the superintendent's secretary, until her retirement. Surviving Elizabeth are her five daughters and spouses, Susan Murawski and fiancé Frank, Janet and John Kinnally, Donna and James Seamans, Mary and Ken Andres, and Teresa and Mark Clark; 12 grandchildren, Jessica, Megan, Michael, Ryan, Sean, Brendan, Kevin, Jack, David, Lisa, Kelly, and Connor; and 12 great grandchildren, Lucas, Madison, Mason, Benjamin, Charles, Emma, Olivia, Emerson, and Augustus, Thomas, Cooper and Alana. A Catholic funeral mass will be held at 11am on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Community, 915 Liberty Road, Eldersburg, MD. Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery, Sykesville. The family will host a reception for family and friends at St. Joseph's Formation and Fellowship Center immediately following the interment.
