George Graefe

George "Earl" Graefe, age 93, of Hampstead, Maryland passed away on October 17, 2023, at The Terraces of Westminster in Westminster, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late George and Bertha (Neuhauser) Graefe and husband of Patricia (Adams) Graefe. He was a member of Long Green Valley Church of the Brethern. He was raised a farmer, retired as a truck driver from the Texas quarry in Cockeysville, Md. During his retirement he enjoyed fishing, hunting and working around his property. In addition to his parents and wife, Earl was preceded in death by his sister, Eileen Kuper, and brother, Carl Graefe. Earl is survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held under the caring guidance of the family owned and operated McComas Family Funeral Home, Jarrettsville, Maryland on Monday, October 23, 2023, 9:30 - 10:30 am. Services to follow at 10:30 am. Interment will take place in Jarrettsville Cemetery.
