Gladys E. Walter

Gladys E. Walter, 86, of Reisterstown, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster. Born June 30, 1929 in Glyndon, MD, she was a daughter of the late Irvin E. Bosley, Sr. and Alice Naylor Bosley. She was the wife of the late Vernon Royal Walter who passed away in 2008. She was a housewife. She enjoyed oil painting pictures for family and friends. She was a member of the former Dover United Methodist Church. Surviving are daughter, Claudia Hubbard of Upperco; sons and daughters-in-law, Roy and Lisa Walter of Bunker Hill, W.Va. and Steven and Wanda Walter of Hampstead; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Tom Ramsey of Hampstead; six grandchildren, step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson, Michael Hubbard; brothers, James F. and Irvin E. Bosley, Jr.; and sister, Helen Harris. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday December 28 at the funeral home with the Rev. Dick Harden officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Arcadia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
