Well Glen I know you are up there in heaven making all the angels laugh. You did so much for Larry & myself in 1973 when you lived with us. We had some fun times & lots of laughter. Rest in peace buddy. Love Denise & Larry.

Glen, you had a gift. You could make anyone laugh, enjoy life a little more. You could make the most difficult situation and put it in the back of your mind and joke and kid around and have everyone in the room laughing. I loved our visits over your's and Maureen's home. In the last year, we were over countless times. Roger more than I, because Roger felt you needed him and he'd drop whatever was on his agenda for the day to come over and see you hoping it would help to wile away the hours and make the days easier on you. There was nothing he wouldn't have done to try to help you to win the battle you were fighting but in the end as is often the case you had to leave us. I only hope someday Roger and I will be with you again. He felt for you as I don't think he ever had for any of his other brothers. Not that he didn't love them all but you had become very special to him in this last year. Card games, shooting pool, always competing with one another, anything to help you to enjoy life, He was there that last day, we both ran up to see you but we were too late. The Lord decided to take you. I will miss you so much Glen. Life just won't be at all the same. I spent 42 years knowing you and trying to understand you. You were a very complex man. Of that I am sure. I hope you are with all of the family now, along with Sugar Bear and all of the dogs that had to say goodbye to you. I pray there is a last frontier you can go to where you can hunt and fish and a cabin on a mountain, like the one you had to sell in Virginia, where you are now at peace and enjoying all of the things you missed when you were ill. Dearest brother-in-law, I will miss you so much. Sometimes the days would be so quiet, then the phone would ring and laughter would ring out within minutes at times from whatever you had said to Roger when you called him. Sometimes I would hear, then I would be laughing with you both. As the days wore on, the difficulties grew so much worse. So I know you have to be at a better place now. You just have to be dear Glen. I pray that when Roger's and my time comes we will join you there, along with Bill, Nancy, Bobby, Mackie, Frankie, George, (Buck) Richard, and of course Roy. Mom and Pop and all the rest of the friends we all have lost over the last few decades... All of whom were I am sure waiting patiently for you when you arrived in Heaven. God Bless you Glen Lee. God will help you to soar through the heavens which, if I know you, that would be just what you would have wanted. Soar through the Heaven's until you are at your last frontier.....once again enjoying yourself instead of suffering so.....
