Henry Myers Obituary

Henry Arvel Myers, age 74, of New Jersey and formerly of Westminster, Maryland, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Born on June 6, 1951, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Arvel Henry Myers and Minnie Strine Myers, and the stepson of the late Pauline Virginia Myers. Henry is survived by his step-sisters, Darlene Reese (Mike), Betty Kopp (Stephen), and Patty Reichenbach, (late Richard); his step-brother, Richard Haugh (Cherie); as well as several cousins, Darlene Harris, Darryl Strine and Dennis Strine. He was also predeceased by his step-brother, William Haugh, Jr. A 1969 graduate of Westminster High School, Henry began his career as a service technician with the Harley-Davidson Company in Frederick, where he was employed until 1986. Following a life-altering accident, he resided in rehabilitation centers and group homes, where he continued to be supported with care and compassion. Henry had a lifelong appreciation for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and when able took great joy in participating in Civil War reenactments-interests that reflected his deep passion for history and craftsmanship. A private graveside service will be in Morehead Memorial Cemetery, Union Mills. Leave a message or memory on his "tribute wall" at hartzlerfuneralhome.com.

I lived across from Henry and his parents when they lived in Silver Run ,(late 70´s early 80´s)he was always a nice friendly guy , sometimes a bit quiet and shy
He was at our house several
times for cook outs and parties
I remember when he had his accident
I knew he was being taken care of but I never knew where
Through the years I would think of him often and wonder how he was doing
Rest In Peace Henry
