Judith Ann "Judy" Bardeen

1957 - 2022

Judith Ann "Judy" Bardeen, 65, of Westminster, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at her home. Born February 5, 1957 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Rolfe Lawson and Dolores Mary (Bahr) Mathews. The youngest of 8 children, she spent her childhood happily growing up on the family farm in Woodlawn. Judy was a graduate of Woodlawn High School, class of 1976. She was a loving mother, who devoted herself to raising her daughters. She operated a home daycare and was a medical secretary at various doctors' offices, until her retirement. Judy was an excellent cook and a "foodie", who enjoyed entertaining and going out with family and friends. She liked to garden and travel- and was particularly fond of visiting the beach. She absolutely loved dogs, especially her fur baby Oliver. Surviving her is daughter Jillian Roberson and her husband Mike, and Ashley Feeney and her significant other Joshua Fowler all of Westminster; grandchildren Cassidy Roberson and Arden Fowler; siblings Dolores Svec and husband Charles, Diane Connors, Terry Mathews, Ronnie Mathews, and Pat Mathews; former husband and father of her children John Feeney; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends who were also her family. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by brothers Gary and Rolfe Mathews. The family will welcome friends on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 11 to 1pm, at which time a memorial service will begin, at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Rd., Westminster.
