Kathleen H. Thompson

Kathleen H. Thompson, 75, of Parkville, MD and formerly of Hampstead, MD passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025 at Morningside House of Satyr Hill in Parkville. Born August 1, 1950 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late James Edward Henthorn, Jr. and Elinor (née Hamilton) Henthorn. She was the wife of the late James Dewey Thompson, who died in 2007. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Thompson had worked as a customer service representative for Chubb Insurance. She enjoyed needlepoint and gardening. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Theodore Edward Thompson and Barbara Thompson of Burbank, CA; sisters and brother-in-law, Elinor Miller of Towson, MD and Margaretha and Philip Lauman of Parkville; brother and sister-in-law, James E. Henthorn, III and Ruth Henthorn of Defuniak Springs, FL. The family will receive friends Monday, October 20, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at ELINE FUNERAL HOME, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Dr. Jarrett Wicklein will officiate. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to a charity of the donor's choice.
