Linda S. Renfro, of Hampstead, MD was called home by her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at her home in Hampstead. Born in 1945 and raised in Baltimore County; she was the devoted daughter to the late Edward and Mildred Briles. She and her husband, George, celebrated 36 years of marriage. After Graduation from Milford Mill High School, Linda worked for the C & P Telephone Company for 3 years; attended and graduated from the Washington Bible College. While in college, she spent her summers working, one of which was 6 weeks on a Navaho Reservation with the Berean Missions Summer Program in New Mexico helping with chores to prepare dormitories for the winter season and taught the Word of God to Navaho children. She was an active member of Kirkridge ARP Church where she heard the Word of God preached, saw many of prayers answered and received many blessings. Linda was a cancer survivor since 1992. Her long career led her to several wonderful companies where she still had retained friendships; she retired from Brothers Services Company where she had worked for 15 years; known as the "Voice of Brothers Services" and as "Lovely Linda" from the late Ron Smith of WBAL Radio. Linda was an avid photographer. Her photography was a reflection of God's love and creation. George and Linda traveled around the United States enjoying the various wonders of the country; they especially enjoyed their times in and around Anchorage with her stepson and his family. She had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and animals; she had a passion for her English style gardens. She enjoyed doing Word Search Puzzles and watching black and white mystery movies. Her family and friends were a great part of her life. She was known for her contagious smile, love for others and her generosity. Surviving in addition to her loving husband, her delightful, supportive step children and their spouse: Clint Renfro, his wife Erin of Anchorage, AK, and Ronda Nichols, her husband Dr. James Nichols of Waynesboro, PA; her amazing step grandchildren, who affectionally called her "Grandma": Garrett and Laura Renfro and Rylan Nichols; her sisters, Judy Loomis of California; and Debbie Brown and husband Steve of Florida; her long time devoted friends, Pat and Frank Kluge of Denton, TX, and Mark and Sharon Wingard, and their 3 daughters-Hannah, and husband Matt Thrift, Sarah, and Abby; Aunt Anna, many cousins, nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her brother, Eddie Briles in 2003. The family will welcome family and friends from 6 to 9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Dr., Manchester, MD, on Sunday, June 13. A funeral service will be held at Kirkridge ARP Church, 2236 Old Fort Schoolhouse Road, Hampstead, MD, on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 1 pm. with Rev. Steven Badorf officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Kirkridge ARP Church Missions Program, P.O. Box 773, Manchester, MD 21102.

Linda and I were in the same homeroom and some classes in our 3 years at MMHS. She was a very sweet girl. Rest in peace. And as you signed my yearbook "Love ya" - back to ya.
