Mary Koutsouradis

1944 - 2021

Marianthi "Mary" Koutsouradis, 77, of Westminster, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones, Thursday, July 29, 2021, at her home. Born April 22, 1944, in Chios, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Dimitris and Eleni Diamantis; beloved wife of Isidoros "Steve" Koutsouradis, her husband of 55 years; cherished sister of Giannis Diamantis and his wife Georgia; loving mother of 3 children, Kaliopi Koutsouradis, Aristidis "Ari" Koutsouradis and his wife Cindy, and Eleni Leppo and her husband Sam; devoted grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. After high school, Mary met her husband, Steve Koutsouradis and they were married, Sunday, October 23, 1966. Together they migrated to the United States in 1975. In 1990, she and her husband purchased the Country Kitchen Restaurant in Taneytown, from which she retired in 2012. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be remembered most for her love of family. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. However, her true passion was cooking and those close to her will remember her for her warm hospitality and delicious meals. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, August 4th, 2021, at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 91 Willis Street, Westminster (21157) where a funeral service of Greek Orthodox Liturgy will be celebrated, Thursday, August 5th, 2021, at 11 a.m. with Father George Mastakas officiating.
