To the family of Ms. Scanlon,
Ms. Scanlon was my fifth grade teacher at Allen Elementary school. She was one of my favorite teachers and she is the reason I decided to go into teaching. My favorite memory of her is when she read the book The Year of the Boar and Jackie Robinson with our class and took us out to a Chinese restaurant. She was such an amazing teacher and always drove me to do my best in school. Because of her, I will now be able to pass on the same care and dedication to my students that she has passed on to me.

Chrissy and John,
My heart goes out to you two esp since you are both doctors and must have felt so helpless. Your love and support, I am sure were felt by Millie.

Kate, and other family members,

I am also a Med School/resident Mom who knows how much your Mom gave to Chrissy and the whole family. She had a bit of the Blarney in her too!
My thoughts and hopes, that you will be alright after this tragedy are with you. Mrs.Rebele (Erin's Mom)

Dear Mr. Hemp, Christine and Kate:
I am very sorry about the loss of Millie. We worked together this year. I will miss her laughter. She and I got along well. I guess our Irish heritage was the reason. God bless you all at this very difficult time.
