Noel Villeneuve Obituary

Noel William "Bill" Villeneuve It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, cherished grandfather, and dedicated letter carrier for the United States Postal Service, born on December 17, 1962, in Washington, D.C. On January 26, 2024, he peacefully departed this world, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and devotion. Throughout his life, he exemplified the essence of compassion and selflessness. As a father, he was the cornerstone of his family, providing unwavering support, guidance, and boundless affection. His children and grandchildren were the center of his universe, and his presence brought joy and warmth to their lives. In his professional capacity, he served the community with unparalleled dedication as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. For years, he traversed neighborhoods, delivering mail with a smile and fostering connections within the community. His commitment to his duties was unwavering, and his reliability earned him the respect and admiration of all who knew him. Beyond his professional endeavors, he was a man of integrity, kindness, and humility. He possessed an innate ability to uplift those around him, offering solace in times of distress and sharing in moments of triumph. His genuine compassion touched the hearts of many and left an indelible mark on the lives he touched. He will be deeply missed by his loving family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will continue to inspire and guide us in our journey through life. In honoring his memory, let us cherish the moments shared, from coaching his children in sports, hunting, antique collecting, and visits to the beach, we take solace in knowing that his spirit will forever reside in our hearts, guiding us with love and light. Bill is survived by his wife of 36 years, Nancy; his children Joe (Louisa), Katie, Claire, Jillian; his grandchildren Geer and Leila; his parents, Noel and Shirley Villeneuve; his brothers Steve and Wayne Villeneuve; sister, Laura (Steve) Werneth; and many relatives and friends in Maryland and South Carolina. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E Main St., Westminster, MD 21157, on Saturday, February 10, 2024; visitation from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.; service at 12:00 p.m.
