Patricia Kontz Obituary

Patricia "Patsy" Yohn Kontz, 83, of Kissimmee, Florida, died Friday, January 27, 2023 at Sonata Hunters Creek Assisted Living. Born February 14, 1939 in Carroll County she was the daughter of the late William Yohn, Jr. and Mabel Beatrice Lovell Yohn. She graduated from Mt. Airy High School. Before retiring she was a Factory Worker. She enjoyed going to casinos, pitching horseshoes, riding motorcycles and animals. Patsy was 2nd place for horseshoes in Florida 2012 for women. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Shawn K. and Carl J. Blizzard, Jr. of Westminster; two grandsons Kenneth K. Bates, Jr. and companion Jenna M. Burja of Westminster; Aaron J. Blizzard of Taneytown; four great-grandchildren Kylan, Adalynn, Gracelynn and Braelynn, a sister Jalna Schaeffer of Westminster, best friend Carol Johns and lifelong friend Catherine (Cass) Litchfield. She was predeceased by a brother William Yohn III. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor David Schafer officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
