Patrick Connor Obituary
Patrick Joseph Connor, 51, of Jacksonville, N.C., formerly of Westminster, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2012.
He was the son of George and Mildred Connor, of Westminster. He was the husband of Cheryl Connor.
He was a native of Baltimore and a retired Staff Sergeant with the Marine Corps. He was a veteran of Desert Storm, serving from 1990 until 1991.
Surviving, in addition to his parents and wife, are daughter, Kristan Williams and husband Michael, of Jacksonville; grandchildren Sawyer Michael Williams and Sadie Elizabeth Williams, of Jacksonville; a brother, Brian Joseph Connor, of Ocean City; sisters Susan Burke Connor and Catherine Francis Larmore, both of Westminster, Judith Ann Cavicchio, of Eldersburg, and Mary Beth Connor, of Sykesville.
He was predeceased by a son, Michael Patrick Connor.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Jones Funeral Home, 303 Chaney Ave., Jacksonville.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jason Brinker officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
