I was a basketball player at F&M from 1990-94 and played against Becky's teams and then I was the women's basketball coach at Dickinson from 2003-2014 and coached against Becky's teams. She was a fierce competitor. I had a great deal of respect for her. We got to know each other better when we served on a committee together and got to spend some time together. She was a good mentor to me. I thank her for what she has done for the game of women's basketball and for all female athletes. She certainly left a legacy at McDaniel and will be missed by many. My sincerest condolences and prayers to her family, friends and former players.

Dear Dottie, Susan and families - Larry and I were saddened about the death of Rebecca. The last time I spoke with her she had just received the news of her cancer but was still considerate enough to ask about my mom. She was a very compassionate person and so much fun to be with during our family gatherings with my parents and her family. We all know her pain is gone and she is reunited with her parents and for that we must be thankful and find peace in her passing. Hope this finda all of you well. God bless. Larry and Carole Barnes
