Robert Lescalleet Obituary

Robert Eugen Lescalleet, 86, died peacefully Tuesday August 23, 2022 at The Dove House Hospice in Westminster. Born June 18, 1936 in Baltimore, he is the son of the late Ralph Eugene Lescalleet and Rita Louise Gouker. Robert was the husband to Christine Harrelson Lescalleet for 47 years. He was a proud Veteran of the Vietnam War serving for 15 years as a United States Marine. Semper Fi. He enjoyed playing fast pitch softball for more than 40 years and when he retired, he enjoyed following the local girls' softball team, The Heartbreakers. In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his daughters Carolyn Lescalleet and husband Gabriel Garrity and Debbie Flinkman, son David Flinkman and wife Sara, brothers Bud, Ken and Wayne Lescalleet, sister Lorraine Van Leeuwen, grandchildren Forrest and Riley Lescalleet, Stella Garrity, Lilah Flinkman, Grady, Sophie and Samantha Webb. He is preceded in death by his sister Virginia Powell. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 31, from 6-8 pm at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, MD Funeral services will be held on Thursday Sept 1, 9;30 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Garrison Forrest Veterans Cemetery with full military honors. Sympathies can be expressed in the form of contributions to https://gofund.me/bc42624b.
