I accidentally found the obituary for my Salisbury U. friend and classmate Royce. How sad it was for me to see it and find that, unbeknownst to me, she lived in Frederick, not far from my sister in Mt Airy. How I would have enjoyed meeting her family and catching up on old times. She was such a warm and friendly fellow Seagull. Always had that beautiful smile! I know she is greatly missed by her family and all who had the good fortune to cross her path. Deepest sympathy to all her family. Rest in peace, Roycie! From your friend Bush.

i just learned about Royce's passing from Taryn Small, a member of the staff of the Armel-Leftwich Visitor Center of the U.S. Naval Academy, which I managed for almost 25 years ago. Royce was a guide there, along with Taryn. Royce was always a delight, as a guide and as a person. I consider myself fortunately to have known her.

I am a bit late in learning of Royce's passing, as I have just learned this week.
But none the less, we grieve the loss of Royce. Her energetic personality,
and her love of life, family, and friends brightened many lives.
We are so sorry for your loss and so happy that our lives intersected for a season, as tour guides and friends.
May there be a great reunion in Heaven someday!
Til then, our love and prayers.

Dear Vetter Family, I met Royce at the Tuesday Afternoon Bible study when I first came to Annapolis. We would meet in different homes and Royce was always so welcoming when we would meet in her lovely home on King George Street in Annapolis. Sending condolences, love, and prayers to all of you! To David and the family of Royce,
I was so sorry to hear of Royce's death. She was the first person to welcome me to Wildwood with enough food to feed me, my family and the movers. Thereafter, she loved showing me her favorite lunch places where we would talk, laugh and enjoy each other's company. I admired her spirit and determination to keep going when it was obvious she was in pain. Rest well dear lady. You will be missed.

We knew David and Royce at Ft Sill, Oklahoma. While our husbands were completing their overseas tour in Okinawa, Royce and Sharon remained in Lawton, Oklahoma. It was a 13 month tour. Royce was a devoted mother and excellent student. We send our sincere condolences.
