Steven Horman

Steven Paul Horman, age 59, of Taneytown, died suddenly Thursday, December 8, 2016 at his home. Born September 7, 1957 in Frederick, he was the son of the late Harold William and Margaret Nusz Horman. He was the husband of Annette Sell Horman, his wife of 32 years. Steve was a 1975 graduate of Francis Scott Key High School. He was employed as a truck driver with Feeser Trucking of Taneytown for 36 years. He enjoyed tractor pulling, campfires, working on cars and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Mark W. Smith and wife Kathy of Littlestown, PA and Steve W. Horman and fiancée Julie Kline of Thurmont; 5 grandchildren, Cody, Bailey, Hunter, Tenley and Landon; a sister, Teresa A. Horman of Rocky Ridge and a brother, Michael S. Horman and wife Sue of Woodsboro. He was predeceased by a brother, Harold W. "Bill" Horman. The family will receive friends at Hartzler Funeral Home, 6 E. Broadway, Union Bridge, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, December 12. There will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Taneytown Volunteer Fire Co., 39 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown, MD 21787.
