Thomas Edwards Obituary

Thomas Wayne Edwards, 66, of Silver Run, died Sunday, Dec 24, 2023, at his home. He was the husband of Alice Fay (Fritz) Edwards for 39 years. Born March 8, 1957 in Gettysburg, Tom was the son of the late James H. & Mary Grace (Ambrose) Edwards. He was a 1975 Westminster High School graduate. Tom worked at a cabinet shop in Union Bridge for Milton Amey in the mid '70's building high-end cabinets until his parents had some health issues. He then came home to help on the farm. Tom's dad had a sawmill which Tom took over and expanded the business. He was a very competitive Drag racer and won many trophies. He went on different NASCAR trips. He was a huge Dale Earnhart fan. Early on Tom enjoyed Carlisle Flea Markets and Steamshows. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles and took trips out west and to New York with special friends and family. Tom enjoyed going to Bike week in Daytona Beach. He took trips to Las Vegas with special friends. He was a very skilled mechanic, fabricator and knowledgeable on anything. He was a logger and farmer. He was always willing to lend a helping hand or share his knowledge. The list goes on and on. Tom was a member of Covenant Life Church of Hanover and a life member of Littlestown F.O.E. Tom loved life, people and laughter. When he laughed, you were laughing also. If you were meeting him for the first time, it was like you knew him all your life. Tom had a huge heart. Life will never be the same without Tom Edwards. Everyone misses him and loves him, especially his soul mate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Jan 4, from 4- 7 P.M. at Bethel Assembly of God, 1125 Frederick Pike, Littlestown. Memorial Service is Friday, Jan 5, at 11 A.M. at Bethel with Pastor Steve Plank officiating. If lieu of flowers, memorials in Tom's name may be sent to Covenant Life Church - 117 Ruth Ave. Hanover PA 17331. Online condolences may be shared on www.littlesfh.com.

Tommy was one of those people you know and meet in your life that every time you saw him, life seemed to stay still like the good ole days and good ole friend! We loved dancing and singing with him and Alice and of course, lots of laughter always. Tommy will surely be missed but always remembered! God bless you Alice. You are the love of his life! Peace be with you always! Love, Bob & Beth xo

Tommy Edwards. Everyone who knew you either liked or loved you. You always were there for whomever needed your help. Your parents were blessed the day you were born. To say you will be missed is definitely an understatement. All of us who got to know you and be around you were better people for it and now that you are gone we feel such sorrow and loss. May you be with God for eternity. You will definitely light up heaven with that beautiful smile that shines through you. Love Nancy - sister in law

Tommy was one of the kindest and friendliest smartest people I´ve ever had the privilege to call my friend. I mounted several deer racks on panels he would cut out himself. He built a head mounting stand for me out of various sized pipe . It made it so I could put a game head in any position I needed in a matter of seconds . I also got some really nice basswood lumber to carve duck decoys with , That he set aside for me ! He will be missed by anyone who knew him ! And he was a guy you couldn´t know and not like ! Alice my heart is broken for you and family and friends! Thoughts and prayers for all of you ! Godspeed my friend Tommy Edwards!
