Thomas Wickline Obituary
Thomas P. Wickline, Sr., 80, of Hampstead, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at his home. Born October 10, 1935 in Hillsboro, WV, he was the son of the late May Ann (Waugh) and Herman Bliss Wickline. He was the husband of Mary Jane (Bixler) Wickline, his beloved wife of 53 years. He was a United States Army Veteran and served in Korea. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, and Honorary Life Member of American Legion Post 200 where he had been Post Commander and Dept. Executive Committee Member. Tom was also an Honorary Life Member of Arcadia Fire Company, and a member of the VFW (Harney 6918) and AMVETS (Hanover Post 22), and the Hanover Republican Club. He had been a self employed excavator. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons Thomas P. & Jeannie Wickline, Jr., and Richard J. & Rose Wickline, all of Hampstead and Jeffrey S. Wickline & girlfriend Michele Crumbacker, of Upperco; grandchildren, Corey & Christy Mann, Caroline Wickline, Renee Wickline, and Jodie Wickline; a great grandson, Colby Wyatt Mann; brother Edsel Wickline of Upperco and sisters Harriett Dooley of VA and Nancy Lemmon of Upperco. He was predeceased by a brother, Fred Wickline. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 12, 2016, 10:00 am - 11:30 am at Arcadia Fire Dept. Activities Bldg., 16020 Carnival Ave., Upperco, with American Legion services and funeral services to follow with Rev. Michael C. Adams officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Dove House Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave Westminster, MD 21157. Arrangements by ELINE FUNERAL HOME, Hampstead. Tom was a great guy he was always cheerful and always went the extra mile when doing things and Tom was always willing to help others. Tom will be missed by all Tom touched so many lives.

We will miss our conversations with Tom about many things in life. I always enjoyed talking with him about the Steam Show and other things. He is a true gentleman and the community is losing a great man, but the Lord has gained another angel. Rest in Peace my Friend.
