Tonia Thomas

Tonia M. Thomas, 50, of Westminster, died on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the Dove House. Born in Gettysburg, PA., on August 23, 1967, she was the daughter of Brenda J. Bellew of Westminster, and the late Kenneth Yelton. Tonia was a participant for a documentary at Johns Hopkins for the Amputee Coalition. She enjoyed crafting and gardening. She is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Besides her father, she is predeceased by her step-father John C. Bellew, and grandparents Mae McKinney and Francis E. Snyder. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at 1:00 p.m., at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A. 254 E. Main Street, Westminster, with Rev. Andrew Reisberg officiating. Interment will be at Zion Church Cemetery in Shipley. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, July 11, 2018, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, Md. 21157.
