Gene Fear Obituary

Gene Fear, Age 83, Beloved husband of Julie, father of Joseph (Katie) Fear, Deanna (Dave Koste) Merkatz; stepfather of Jennifer (Michael) Ridge and Dean (Kaye) Huck, died November 29, 2022. Fear had eleven grandchildren, and was the stepbrother of Tom Bowne. He was a member of Ballard Cochran Post No. 40, American Legion; life member of Occidental Lodge No. 72, F.&A.M.; a former member of Norwegian Male Chorus, Seattle and Bellingham. Fear was the former owner and president of Wiggen & Sons Funeral Home, Ballard. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at the Chapel at Acacia Memorial Park, 14951 Bothell Way NE, Seattle, directed by BONNEY WATSON. Private interment at Acacia Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to his church, Evergreen Christian Community, 1000 Black Lake Blvd. SW, Olympia, WA 98502 or Assured Hospice, 2102 Carriage St. SW, STE H, Olympia, WA 98502.
