Michael D. Godfrey

Michael D. Godfrey, 63, husband of Tina Oaks Godfrey, passed away Friday, June 24, 2022. He was born in Huntsville, Alabama to the late Donald Faye and Billie Muncher Godfrey on April 25, 1959. Mr. Godfrey was a farmer and loved sitting in the front yard, waving to people as they drove by. In addition to his wife of 43 years, he is survived by his sons and special daughter, Chris Godfrey, Jessetown, Jessi and Missy Godfrey, Georgia and Kevin Godfrey, Jessetown; his grandchildren, Jazmyn, Drew, Carson, Zachary, Savannah, Missy, Bella, Kenny, Nathan and Joseph; sisters, Sharon Forman, TX and Theresa Whitton, NC; several nieces and nephews; aunt, Glenda Godfrey, GA and 4 cousins, Karen, Joey, Keith and Debbie.
Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill with Rev. Brent Huggins officiating. Burial followed in Midway Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be Chris Godfrey, Jessi Godfrey, Kevin Godfrey, Drew Godfrey, Carson Godfrey and Mikey Tallman. Visitation was 11 a.m. until the time of service.
