Bernice Moore Obituary
Stumpy worked as a rural letter carrier for over 30 years and also worked at the Hockessin Post Office and was the secretary for the Rural Letter Carrier Association.
She was a member of various social clubs in Elkton and Newark and participated at the senior center and in the garden club.
Stumpy enjoyed playing cards, crafting, gardening and hanging out with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Jerome "Jerry" Moore who passed in 2012 and her sister, E. Lorraine Gropp.
Survivors include her daughter, Catherine Alonzo; son, Dave Moore; granddaughter, Arielle (Roger) and her sister, Patricia Shields.
Service will be private.
