Fay L. Craig

Fay Louise Craig, age 69, of Elkton, MD, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022. Born in Elkton on March 5, 1953, she was the daughter of Frances M. Lockard Pugh, Elkton, MD, and the late Worth Eldreth, Sr.

Mrs. Craig worked in the housekeeping department for W.L. Gore and Associates, Cherry Hill, MD, and had previously worked for Avon, Newark, DE, as a staffing coordinator from 1972-2009. She loved cooking and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her daughter, Kristen J. Young and husband, Michael, Newark, DE; daughter-in-law, Leslie Craig, Millsboro, DE; grandchildren, James W. Craig, IV, Michael Young, Jr., Logan Young, Malik Craig, and one intended adoptive grandson; and siblings, Worth Eldreth, Jr., Elkton, MD, James Eldreth, Sr., New Castle, DE, Louis Eldreth, West Jefferson, NC, and Richard Eldreth, Cecilton, MD.

In addition to her father, Mrs. Craig was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Craig, Jr.; son, James W. Craig, III; and sister, Frankie Farrington.

Funeral service will be held at 1 PM, Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, with visitation beginning at 11:30 AM. Interment will be in Cherry Hill Methodist Cemetery, Cherry Hill, MD.
