Frances Webster Obituary
Frances Elizabeth Webster, born on May 21st, 1925, to Ernest and Pauline Wells in her home in Street, Maryland, graced this world with her warmth, love, and kindness for 98 beautiful years.
A treasured member of Mt. Zoar A.M.E Church in Conowingo, MD, Frances not only shared her voice with the choir but also uplifted spirits with her piano melodies. Her visits to other churches to revel in their choir performances were a testament to her deep love for music and community.
Frances's impeccable fashion sense, was a reflection of her inner radiance, which was evident in every facet of her life. Whether indulging in her passion for shopping, crossword puzzles, or creating masterpieces with her knitting needles, she exuded love and faith.
Her generosity knew no bounds, as she embraced all with open arms, offering not just meals to all who visited, but also comfort and kindness in abundance. Her infectious laughter and luminous smile truly illuminated every room she graced, leaving hearts lighter.
Frances leaves behind a legacy of profound love and cherished family memories, blessed with four children: Robert Wilson, Viola Wells, Jimmy Wells, and her pre-deceased son, Malcolm Wells.
Her nurturing embrace extends to her nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, each a testament to her enduring love.
In the early hours of Tuesday, April 30th, 2024 Frances peacefully embarked on her journey into eternal rest, cradled by the loving hands of her daughter and granddaughter, guided into the comforting embrace of the Lord.
A visitation to celebrate Frances's remarkable life will be held on Saturday, May 11th, from 11 am to 12 pm at Mt. Zoar A.M.E Church, located at 440 Mt. Zoar Road, Conowingo, MD 21918. Following the service, funeral proceedings will commence, with final rest internment at Hosanna A.M.E Church, situated at 2418 Castleton Rd, Darlington, MD 21034.
Frances's memory will forever reside in the hearts of all who were blessed to have been touched by her boundless grace, unwavering love, and enduring legacy of kindness.
