Jamie Hudson Obituary
A graduate of Goldey-Beacom College, Mrs. Hudson had a master's degree in Finance. She worked with her husband and best friend, Mark, at Mark Hudson Excavating, and had recently started her own advertising and promotional business.
She dearly loved her family, friends, and her animals.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hudson is survived by her husband, Mark; children, Nellie L. Hudson and Mark T. Hudson, Jr., both at home; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Andrea Harris, Twinsburg, OH; and their sons, Sawyer, Emmett, and Wesley Harris; as well as her husband's parents, Shirley Vannoy, Elkton, and the late Ralph Vannoy.
Visitation will be 5-7 PM Friday, January 27, 2023, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton St., Elkton. Funeral service will be 11 AM., Saturday, January 28, at the funeral home with interment in Cherry Hill Methodist Cemetery. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.

Jamie we remember the day you were born. There had been a heavy snow and travel was difficult but your grandmother Tinks was so excited to go and see her first grand daughter. She said "nothing is going to stop me from seeing her." And nothing did. Your mom was so excited to finally have her little girl. She told me when they told her it was a girl she cried. You were always smiling when you were little. I don´t remember you ever crying. You always were so engaged in the moment and up for anything when you were a little girl and as a teenager. Uncle David and I are so sad and heartbroken now. I went through pics last night and all the pics are you smiling laughing and playing with your cousins. We were lucky to have had you in our lives when we did.
Our condolences to your family. Your loss can never be filled. We love you Jamie. We always did.
