Kenneth Dvorak Obituary

Kenneth Paul Dvorak, 77, of Elkton, MD, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 6, 2025. Born in Elkton on September 29, 1947, he was the son of the late Henry and Bessie Kiloski Dvorak.

Ken retired from General Motors Corporation in 2001, with over 30 years of service as a supervisor. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed hunting, both locally and big game, and shared his love of the sport with his children and son-in-law. A long-distance runner, Ken was proud to share his accomplishment of "pounding the pavement" for more than 77,000 miles.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Daria Sturgeon Dvorak; children, Scott Spalding (Dawn), Lisa Beavers (Charlie), and Kevin Dvorak (Brandy); grandchildren, Michael Spalding, Ethan Prather, Alexis Dvorak, Meredith Beavers, Reese Dvorak, and Noah Beavers; great-grandson, Landon; and siblings James Dvorak and Patricia Trotto.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM, Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Church, 454 Bow Street, Elkton, MD 21921, with visitation from 9:30-10:45 AM in the Church Chapel. Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Cherry Hill, MD.

The Dvorak family would like to thank the providers, nurses, patient care techs, and support staff at Union Hospital, who provided excellent care to Ken during his hospitalization.
