Janet Ingvall Obituary

VINTON - Janet L. "Jan" Ingvall, 59, of Vinton, died Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids of a heart attack. She was born August 10, 1951 in Cedar Rapids the daughter of Joseph W. and Nita Ellison Blazek. She married Richard "Dick" Ingvall on August 10, 1968 in Cedar Rapids.
Jan worked as a letter carrier for the Cedar Rapids Post Office for fifteen years. She enjoyed watching wrestling and going for boat rides on the river.
She is survived by her husband, Dick of Vinton; one daughter, Amy (Brad) Zirtzman of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, Ryan, Megan and Laura Zirtzman of Cedar Rapids; one step grandson, Sean Zirtzman of Iowa City and one sister, Pat (Rob) Merritt of Lisbon.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 27, 2010 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in La Porte City. Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the church and also one hour before the service.
Memorials may be directed to the family.

Terry stein I am very sorry to hear about Jan. I know its been 2 years i just seen it on line, I was looking up your name dick to see where your at now I hope your doing ok now hang it their life is short for sure
