Pam,
We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Mike was a wonderful man. When he came back to South Dakota it was something my family always looked forward too. Mike touched many hearts and did not even know it. My Seth son was not the easiest child to raise but Mike's sense of humor always brought a smile and fun into the day. Mike also told Seth, "I was just like you, learn now because its only going to get harder." Seth would just eat it all up. He made bets with the kids, had time for the kids and had a very kind heart.
I can also remember when Mike took a baby kitty home for you from our farm. He kept telling us it was for his wife but that Kitty curled up on Mikes lap and they were like two peas in a pod. Every year when he came back he would tell us how that cat had more privileges at home than he did. Mike always spoke very highly of you Pam and you could see how much he loved you. Thank you for sharing a small piece of his life with us we will be so ever blessed. We were not aware that Mike was ill or had passed until hearing it from someone on the street.
Again we are so sorry for your loss and hope that your family finds some comfort in this hard time.
Sincerely,
Jim and Michelle Vissia
