Roger Collins Obituary
He was born May 26, 1958 in Norton,Virginia. He is preceded in death by two brothers, Andrew Collins and J.P. Collins.
He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Rose Hiner Collins; his daughter, Ashley Guyton and son-in-law, John Guyton; and his beloved grandson, Cash Guyton; his father, Earl Collins, of Richmond; his mother, Ethel Turbeville, of Louisa; three brothers, Robert Collins, Earl Collins and David Collins, all of Louisa; two sisters, Janie Kelley and Marty Baker, both of Louisa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Roger served in the U.S. Army and was a self-employed contractor in Louisa County and surrounding areas. One of the most important days of life was when he became a papa.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Lacy's Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at Lacy's at 1 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, 2018. Interment will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in Mineral.
Arrangements are being handled by Lacy Funeral Home, 6241 Cross County Rd., Mineral, Va. Friends can sign the guestbook at www.lacyfh.com.
