Ruth Powers Obituary
Mrs. Powers was a member of Holly Grove Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garrett Powers in 1988.
Survivors include her children, Gary "Butch" Powers (Patricia), Ronnie Powers (Marcia), both of Bumpass, and Robert "Porky" Powers (Wanda) of Powhatan; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Robert Lacy and Herbert Brown, both of Bumpass.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, November 27 at Holly Grove Christian Church.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 28 at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Arrangements are being made by Lacy Funeral Home, Mineral.
