Stuart Hester Obituary
He was born November 4, 1930 in Louisa County, the son of the late Sherwood M. and Rena McGehee Hester. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Oliver, Lewis, Earl and Norman Hester; and his sisters, Dorothy Reid, Mary Lasley and Ruby Hicks.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys C. Hester of Louisa; sons, Anthony W. Hester and his wife, Deborah, of Louisa, Virginia and Stephen S. Hester and his wife, Tina, of Fork Union, Virginia; also his granddaughter, Ashley N. Harris and her husband, Neilan, and great-granddaughter,Caroline May, of Surry, Virginia. He is also survived by one brother, William Hester of Richmond, Virginia; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 15405 Cross County Road, Mineral, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Hospice of the Piedmont, Attn: Development Office, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Suite 300, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
