I remember Mr. and Mrs. Browning as being the kindest and caring people at Park Forest United Methodist. I met them when my father, Rev. Edward Younken, was pastor, and I had the honor of babysitting Sarah and George. I have never forgotten the time when Alice reached out to me to show concern when my parents separated. I saw Barton a few years ago when we stopped to pick up our apple pies. They were a beautiful couple. My heart is with Sarah and George and their families.

Alice subbed for me several times at State High. I could always count on her to do an excellent job. I also liked her as a person.

Alice and Bart were two people I was always glad to run into at different events. I left the discussion enriched by both.
