Bellefonte, Pennsylvania - Bryan Wayne Hockenberry, 36, of Bellefonte, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Born on June 16, 1986, in State College, he was the son of Darla (Shawley) Flory, who survives at her home in Milesburg. On June 20, 2020, in Milesburg, he married the love of his life, Tiffany (Lucas) Hockenberry, who survives at their home.
Bryan was a 2004 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. He worked as a driver for MTM and for Walk's Towing.
In addition to his wife, Tiffany, and mother, Darla, he is survived by his six children, Dain, Donovan, Alexis, Jocelyn, Zachary, and Athena Hockenberry. Also surviving is a sister, Ashlee Flory, nephew, Ray Whitehead, and his great aunt Alice Lehman.
Bryan was an avid outdoorsman, whether he was hunting, fishing, or simply enjoying the outdoors – he was in his happy place. He had always dreamt to live "off the grid." Above all else, his greatest sense of pride came from making sure that his family was taken care of and that they always knew how loved they truly were.
Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
