March 25, 1945 - February 20, 2024
Julian, Pennsylvania - On Tuesday, February 20, 2024, Carol A. Hook, 78, joined her beloved husband and best friend, Harold who passed away May 26, 2020, in paradise. Carol was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend among so many other things. She was most proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and even had an entire wall of her home dedicated to photos of them. She bragged about them every chance she got with love in her eyes. Carol had an unforgettable laugh and loved to joke and have a good time. She loved music and dancing much like her mother, Helen, and she passed that love along to several of her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. Carol was a firecracker who always spoke her mind. She could always be counted on for a witty remark or sassy comeback. Carol was a gift and brought joy to every life she touched.
Carol passed peacefully in her home in the presence of loved ones. She was greeted at the gates of heaven by those who predeceased her--parents Helen and Woody, daughter Billie Jo, granddaughter Courtney, and sister Shirley among others who were very dear to her.
She is survived by and will be remembered in the hearts of her daughters Sherry (Mike), Deb, and Bobbie Jo; son Harold Jr. (Polly); grandchildren James, Ashley (Jonathan), Cristina, Amber (Zach), Cody (Lacey), Kelsey, Kendall and Crystal (Richard); and great grandchildren Maddie, Kenzie, Maddox, Jase, Zadyn, Nova, Carter, Mason, Rielle, Waverly, Riley, Tyler, and Brantley; and her siblings Elwood Jr. (Levi), Judy, and Barbara (Denny).
There will be no public visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are under the care of the Bruce E. Cox Funeral Home, Warriors Mark. www.bruceecoxfh.com
