I was very saddened to hear of Dot's passing. She was a good friend of my mother, Shirley DeLong, who we lost in 2001. We all worked together at Jostens and I will never forget Dot's sweet smile. She was a dear lady and a genuinely nice person. May God comfort you during this very difficult time.

Thank You to everyone for all your kind words about our Mom. She truly was a wonderful Mother and inspiration. Not only will I miss her smile and laugh, but calling her at a moment's notice to ask her what I can "substitute" in a recipe I thought would be good, then realize I didn't have all the ingredients. My family has come to call all these dishes "Lori Surprise".
Thank you to everyone who in one way shape or form touched and forever became a part of my Mom's life. She did love her family and her friends.
A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped to ease our families pain over this past week. The outpouring from all her and dad's friends and family was OUTSTANDING! A true tribute to who she was and is. She is in Heaven and singing his praise!
Always keep a little of my Mom with you and you will be blessed one hundred-fold.
Her daughter, Lori

Aunt Dot also babysat Leigh Ayn, our youngest daughter as well, and all three, Jim, Michele and Leigh looked forward to spending time at her house and enjoyed her spoiling them. lovingly, Betty

I’m very sorry to learn of Dot’s passing. So many people adored her. A thoroughly likeable woman -- you enjoyed chatting or hanging out with her. She could really make you laugh. Dot will certainly be missed, but never forgotten. The sadness is ours, of course, because her “new life” with Jesus has just begun. With all that’s going on in the world today, He must have wanted her laughter close to Him.

Dot was my Group Leader when I work in the Paste up/Tool line Department of Jostens. She was always so helpful. Dot and John Clark our supervisor made a great team. Every year she rewarded us with an Awesome dinner at Fowler's Grove. She was a good hearted lady that I will never forget. Those precious memories will be in my heart forever. RIP Dot. Thoughts and prayers go out to all the family members and friends.

Dot babysit our children, Jim and Michele when they were little. They loved going to her place and enjoyed being with her, Steve and Lori. I would say she had a hand in "spoiling" (with love) the children. At Christmas time we used to get together and bake cookies - I remember the one cookie recipe she made was called "Hermits" with coconut, choc. chips, cherries and nuts in them - (we each made different recipes). When the hermits came out of the oven they were larger than normal. Dot said "they looked like cowpiles" but, they would get eaten. They were delicious. We laughed about that alot when we would get together and talk of "old times". We used to make Easter egg candies - different varieties w/my sister Waivia and good friend Carol. What good times they were. We made them for several years. Oh yes, I remember the first time you had the first "Mary Kay" party many years ago in your front yard around a picnic table - Oh so much fun, and how you were willing to be a hostess for my "Beeline Parties". Oh my those memories go on and on. I will cherish all of them forever and know your love in my heart. I will miss you Dot, a good friend and great sister-in-law, but, know you are with our Savior. May you rest in peace and till we meet again..........Betty
