Decided to look up Dr. Partenheimer and saw where he died several years ago. He was my major professor for my Master's degree in Ag. Econ. at Auburn in 1962-63. I liked him a lot. I retired in 2004 after 40 years with the USDA. Gary Jones.

Earl was a dear colleague and friend during my time at Penn State. He could always see clearly to the root of a problem. He was always cheerful and thoughtful of others. It was a sad day to learn of his passing.

Earl Partenheimer gave so much time and energy to the Explorer post that I was in during high school. I could never thank him enough for his patience and perseverance with our rowdy group of teens. Kaye, Deb, Larry, and Dave...I am so sorry for your loss.
