George Brinton Stahl

George Brinton Stahl February 4, 1936 December 21, 2013 George Brinton Stahl, 77, of State College, died Saturday, December 21, 2013, at his residence. Born February 4, 1936, in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Hastings Howard and Maude Elizabeth Huther Stahl. On May 31, 1980 he married Carol Dashem, who survives. He is also survived by five children, Linda Ross, Deborah Miles and her husband, Martin, Susan Filmeck, David Stahl, Michael Stahl and his wife, April, all of Williamsport; a sister, Judy Thompson, of S. Williamsport; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers and one grandson. He was a 1954 graduate of Williamsport High School and served in the United States Army. George was employed by Courier Express as a bank courier. He was also employed by Millers Wholesale Florist in Altoona as a salesman. Memorial service will be private at the convenience of the family.
