Gloria Jean Terpak

Gloria Jean Terpak November 30, 1938 - May 11, 2007 Gloria Jean Terpak, 68, of Sacramento, CA, passed away Friday, May 11, 2007, at the Sutter Hospital in Roseville, CA. Born on November 30, 1938, at the Philipsburg Osceola Hospital, she is the daughter of the late Richard Henwood and Alice Croyle Henwood. Gloria married Paul Terpak who survives in Bellefonte. She was a 1957 graduate of the Philipsburg Osceola High School. She also went on to graduate from the Lock Haven University. Gloria was a retired realtor. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Tingley of Roseville, CA, by two sons, Paul Michael Terpak and Patrick Allen Terpak both of Bellefonte, by three sisters, Rita Thompson, Jo Minarchick, and Sue Jones all of Philipsburg, and by three grandchildren, Lauren Michelle Tingley of Roseville, CA, Brooke Cherrie Terpak of Bellefonte, and by Casie Lynn Tingley also of Roseville, CA. Along with her parents Gloria is preceded in death by one brother, Jax Henwood. She is a member of the Episcopal Church in Roseville. Gloria was awarded the Prestigious Presidential Award after 1 1/2 years of service at Trend West. She was an avid tennis player and golfer. She was the Woman's Club Champion for three years straight at the Philipsburg Country Club. There will be a visitation Wednesday, May 16, 2007, from 7pm until 9pm at the Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte, and Thursday, May 17, 2007, from 9am until 11am the time of the service at the Grace United Methodist Church in Philipsburg. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 17, 2007, at 11:00am at the church with the Pastor Mark Thumma officiating. Burial will follow in the Philipsburg Cemetery in Philipsburg.
