Kathleen Deborah Confer May 27, 1951 October 28, 2017 Kathleen Deborah (Boscaino) Confer went home to be with the Lord on October 28, 2017, while in the comfort of her home with her husband, Samuel, by her side. She fought a long, hard battle with varying illnesses over the years. She was born May 27, 1951, to the late Helen Boscaino (Ivicic) and James R. Boscaino, Jr., of Jim's Italian Cuisine, in Bellefonte. Kathleen, though small in stature, had a bigger than life personality to all who knew her. The highlights of her life were her grandchildren and her "comedian" husband, Sam. Surviving Kathleen are her two daughters, Karin (Jamie) Colpetzer, of Bellefonte, and Mitzi (John) Miller, of Jersey Shore. She leaves behind several grandchildren, Elle Miller, Sophia Miller, Caden Bathurst, and Morgan Colpetzer. She had one great-grandchild, Loreili "LuLu" Colpetzer, who was the light of her life. Also surviving are two sisters and one brother, Joan Boscaino Lose, of Bellefonte, Eva Boscaino Park, of Ephrata, and James Boscaino III, of Bellefonte. Kathleen leaves behind a memorable legacy to all who loved and knew her. Life won't be the same without her. Kathy was preceded in death by both of her parents respectively; a sister, Antoinette Boscaino; and a grandchild born asleep, Ava Bathurst. We were beyond blessed to have had her, though she finished her journey too soon. You will be missed, never forgotten. Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
