I'm so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Drapcho was a wonderful teacher and an even more wonderful person. I had the good fortune to run into her on the street in State College a few years after graduation. I apologized to her for my sometimes rowdy classroom behavior. She was so gracious and sweet, and more than accepting of my apology. She set an example for all of her students in the classroom and out. We were so fortunate to have had her as a teacher at Penns Valley. Class of 77

Drapcho family, so very sorry to read of Mrs. Drapcho's passing. She taught so many of us at PVHS. Besides her teaching skills she taught us kindness and pose. Always a kind word and a pleasant smile. She was a very classy lady.

She taught me a skill I continue to use everyday in my job.....typing! I had the opportunity to see her a few months ago at the Waffle Shop in Bellefonte, I am glad that I walked up and talked with her then. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

...Mrs. Drapcho taught me the most valuable skill of all of my high school and college years, which was to type. I still think fondly of her correcting my posture as I remind myself to not slouch. I consider myself very fortunate to have had her for a teacher. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family at this time of loss.

What a wonderful and dignified woman! She was loved by so many, as was her husband! They both left their mark on the students of Penns Valley! I ran into her about a year ago when visiting State College and she still knew my name after all of those years! She definitely is the best dressed angel in heaven...with a ruler in her hand :)

Think about her often as she taught me shorthand at Penns Valley in the late 60's. I would not have been able to get where I went in my business career if she had not been such an excellent teacher. Heaven has definitely added a wonderful angel.
