Sandra Jean Colton June 27, 1942 October 6, 2014 Sandra Jean Colton, 72, of Huntingdon, passed away Monday morning at her home after an extended illness. She was born in Altoona, daughter of Goldie Ruth (Weierlck) Franks and the late Martin Luther Franks, Sr. She was twice married, first to Ronald E. Gray on October 3, 1963, in Altoona. They had one son together, Richard E. Gray. She then married Robert B. Colton on September 8, 2007, in Huntingdon. Surviving are her mother; her son of Altoona; a sister, Vickie L. Knotts (Michael) of Altoona; a brother, Martin L. Franks, Jr. (Marie) of Altoona; her husband, Robert of Huntingdon; and her former husband, Ronald of Altoona. Sandra was a 1960 graduate of Altoona High School. She was employed as a registered nurse at Altoona Hospital for over 20 years and worked primarily as a pediatric nurse practitioner. She was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Huntington. Sandra's favorite activities were cooking, dancing, scrapbooking and admiring nature. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Huntingdon with Father David J. Arseneault, presider. The Committal will be at Blair Memorial Park in Bellwood, PA. Visitation is Sunday, October 12th from 2 to 4 P.M. and 5 to 9 P.M. and Monday from 9 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. at Robert E. Peters Funeral Home in Huntingdon. The Vigil Service is at the funeral home on Sunday at 8 P.M.
