Dr Young was my doctor and my husband's doctor and he was so wonderful with my mother when she was dying back in 1992..Jim & I will always remember him as a very special person and Doctor..God Bless

Doc we miss you so much we know we will never receive the care like we did from you....the only thing that helps at this time is knowing that you are with your Lord and Savior and watching down on every one left behind you will alway's be in are hearts and Mary Lou and the family will be in our every prayer.

I have worked with Dr Young for 20+ years. He was the face of Penns Valley. He was not only Dr for the residence of Penns Valley, but he was an active part of that community. He will be sorely missed as their Dr, but also their friend.

Greg and I were so saddened to hear about Dr Young's passing. He was a wonderful doctor who had a heart of gold. I learned a lot from him during my 5 years taking care of some of his patients at the pharmacy as well as from being a patient myself. Our prayers go out to the Young family.

Mrs. Young and family:
Dr Young was my family doctor, and I will never forget the wonderful care and such wonderful bedside manner, with the calls after hours and the house calls, you just don't see that dedication much anymore. He will be so missed. It was such a pleasure to meet and get to know him. His bedside manner is something that isn't seen much anymore. He was truely a wonderful doctor and friend. He will truely be missed. You all are in my thoughts and prayers...

Mrs. Young. My husband was a patient of Dr.Young since 1975 and also a Navy veteran, They talked alot about their time in the service.I was also a patient of his, He was a wonderful and caring person. Our Hearts and Prayers are with you and your children.

What a shock to get an e-mail about Bill's passing! Our deepest sympathy to the family. As one who was deeply involved in the start of the Medical Center, we were so pleased that Bill was one of our first physicians there. He certainly made an impression in the area, and will be deeply missed, not only for his medical skills, but also for his sense of humor, his caring, his compassion. I was privileged to be pastor at St. John's, where he had his membership, and remember the contribution he made to the congregation. Indeed, we felt that he and Mary Lou were really a part of our family; he even wanted to "adopt" one of our sons! He will be sorely missed! God bless you, Mary Lou, and Gretchen and Jonathan.

I just wanted to send my sympathies and tell you how sorry I am for the loss of your loved one. A friend of mine, Wanda, from Cafemom has been telling me all about what a wonderful man Dr Young was. I have been praying for him for several months. I was saddened to hear he had lost his battle with cancer. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you.

We are so sorry to hear of Dr. Young's passing. He was a caring doctor who always took the time to explain things and to listen. He would often call after office hours to check on one of us when he was concerned.
Dr. Young was so thoughtful and caring - I remember when he made a housecall for me when my grandfather passed away. He sat for quite awhile just listening to me cry and talk about memories of him.
What a great loss this is for the Penns Valley area and for his family. He will be missed.

Mrs. Young,
While Dr. Young was not our regular Dr., he cared for my family more than once. We shall miss him. The valley will always be a better place because of him.

There was no one on this earth that would even come close to Doc he was like family,he knew more about Tim and I then out own family's did.I thought the hardest thing I ever done was when I went to the medical center and transfered over here to Bellefonte,but it was not...this is the hardest!!! The loss of someone so close is difficult to bear. Losing my brother not long ago, can relate to your sorrow.
It was a pleasure knowing Bill, not just as our doctor, but also as our neighbor and friend.
Watched Bill and Marylou go for their walks together, hand in hand, thinking they are really in love. We will miss him.
