Haven Samone Lee

"A radiant soul whose love lit every room" Haven Samone Lee, 19, a vibrant and beautifully spirited young woman, entered this world on September 9, 2006, in Urbana, Illinois. She was born to Charles Lee and the late Kimberly Warren, and from the very beginning, her presence carried a warmth and light that touched every life she encountered. Haven was educated in the Champaign Unit 4 School District and proudly graduated from Central High School in May of 2025. With ambition and a heart full of dreams, she continued her education at Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois, where she began shaping her future with purpose and passion. Haven had a natural love for the culinary arts and worked in the culinary industry, where she especially enjoyed baking. She delighted in tasting and experiencing new foods, exploring restaurants, and sharing meals with the people she cared about. Shopping, laughter, and simple joys were also among the things that made her heart happy. She was not only beautiful in appearance but truly beautiful in spirit-her kindness, joy, and pure love filled every room she entered. A woman of faith, Haven attended Grove Street Church of God in Christ, where she was surrounded by a loving church family and spiritual foundation. Haven leaves to cherish her precious memory: her father, Charles Lee; her grandmother, Beatrice Jones; her brothers, Braxton Isaiah Lee and Charles V. Lee; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. She also leaves a special place in the hearts of those who loved her, including her special friend, Kamran Deans, who held a meaningful bond in her life. She was welcomed into eternal rest by her beloved mother, Kimberly, who surely met her in heaven with the biggest smile and warmest hug. She is also preceded in death by grandparents and other relatives and friends who now embrace her in glory.
