Herman Jones III, 34, of Decatur, IL passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025. He was born on February 7th, 1991, in Decatur, IL to Herman Jones Jr. and Nora Louise Robinson Jones. Herman attended Decatur Public Schools. Herman treasured his time with family and his girls meant the world to him, in his free time he enjoyed playing video games, long walks, and hanging out with family. Herman was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Herman's smile, goofiness and love for his family will be dearly missed. Herman preceded in death by his father; Herman Jones Jr, paternal grandparents, Herman Jones Sr. and Dorothy Jones, maternal grandparents, William Austin and Priscilla Robinson, his son, Keyshawn Jones, six uncles and two aunts. Herman leaves behind cherish his memory, his loving children, Noriah S. Jones, Keyara T. Jones, Karmyn E. Jones, and Jayshawn Jones of Peoria, IL, mother, Nora L. Jones of Decatur, IL, two sisters, Tammi Robinson and Tasheka Jones of Decatur, IL, two brothers, Deshawnta Robinson and Lashawnta Jones of Decatur, IL, he also leaves five aunts, Brenda Brown of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Sandra (Johnny) Ballard of Joliet, IL, Norma Jean Childress of Joilet, IL, Hattie (Alonzo) Adkinson of Villa Ridge, IL, and Marcy (Keith) LaGrone of Mounds, IL, two uncles, Carl (Carolyn) Robinson of Mound City, IL and Tyler Banks of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; one great aunt Cammie Robinson, of Ypsilanti, Michigan; best friends, Bryon Johnson and Charles Brown and host of loving 3 nieces, 3 nephews, 3 great nieces, and 5 great nephews, cousins and friends.
