Ronald Reynolds Obituary

Ronald Eugene Reynolds HAMPTON, SC - Mr. Ronald Eugene Reynolds of Luray Highway near Hampton, died early Friday morning in the Beaufort Memorial Hospital. Mr. Reynolds was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, February 7, 1933, a son of the late John Henry Reynolds and Mabel Milks Rainer. He had retired from United Insurance Company after 25 years of service, and then owned and operated Reynolds Processing Company. He had served in the Marines during the Korean Conflict, served in the Hampton National Guard and the State Guard. He was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion, and was a 32nd Degree Mason. He had been a very active member of Sandy Run Baptist Church, where he was a Choir Member and a Deacon. Surviving are: His Wife: Mattie Jean Clifton Reynolds, of Hampton; Son: Ronald Jerome "Ronnie" Reynolds, and wife Vickie of Luray; Half Sisters: Katherine Williams of Freeport, Texas, Shirley Jones and husband Reed of Tyler, Texas, and Linda Rainer of Austin, Texas; Brothers-in-Law: J.C. Clifton, of Hampton, Billy Clifton, and wife Virginia of Denmark; and a Granddaughter: Miriam Michelle Reynolds. He was predeceased by a Brother-in-Law and Wife: Ernest and Virginia Clifton. Funeral services will be at 11 A.M. Monday in the Sandy Run Baptist Church, with burial in the Sandy Run Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 6 P.M. at the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton. Visit our guestbook at www.legacy.com/obituaries/ charleston
