Adam Honeycutt Obituary

Adam Waldon Honeycutt
Adam, of Charlotte, the loving son of Robert and Clayton Honeycutt, enjoyed the things most twenty-one-year old young men enjoy - playing guitar, fishing, cruising and riding around, telling jokes, eating pizza and having cookouts. It was difficult to see him slip away so soon on Thursday afternoon, March 18, 2009 in Presbyterian Hospital's Harris Hospice Unit.
Adam was born August 10, 1987 in Charlotte. He graduated from Hopewell High School in 2005 and furthered his education at Central Piedmont Community College and was since employed with Valvoline Instant Oil Change currently at the Huntersville location.
In addition to his parents, Adam's family includes two step brothers, Robert Honeycutt Jr. and Kenneth Lane Honeycutt, and a step sister, Karen Wilson; his loving son, Robert Reid, and his son's mother, Tiffany Duggan; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, all of whom he loved dearly.
Adam's family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Friday evening at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 21 from the graveside in Forest Lawn West Cemetery with the Reverend John Thomas officiating.
Arrangements are in the care of Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Drive (704.395.0055).

Adam will deeply be missed due to his creativity and sense of humor. He showed his love for others with jokes and smiles, which was a part of who he was. It was a huge pleasure to meet him in high school and have great memories with him in them. God bless his family and friends through this hard time.

Watching Adam grow from a boy into a young man with such potential was a privilege as a neighbor. We knew him as quite but caring and had a willing spirit. It truly saddens us to see his life cut so short. Our wishes for healing goes to his family and all who where close to him.

Adam,

Growing up, first you were my neighbor, then my best friend, and then my first true love. You were such a big part of my childhood, in fact, you are in a majority of my memories from that part of my life. You were one of the most amazing friends that I have ever had and I can not believe that you are no longer with us. You will be in my heart forever.

I will always love you,
Amber
