Anna Stallings Obituary
Clark McDonald Stallings
Mrs. Stallings, 89, of Charlotte, passed away Wednesday, March 28th, at the Levine-Dickson Hospice House. Born in Reidsville on September 9, 1922, Anna was the daughter of the late Eugene Jones and Lille Clark McDonald. She married the late Fred Dailey Stallings on September 14, 1946 at the Main Street Methodist Church in Reidsville.
Anna Clark attended the Reidsville schools and UNCG, formerly WCUNC and retired from the Mecklenburg Finance Department. Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Stallings was preceded in death by her brother Jim McDonald, sister Hilda Wagoner and grandson Christopher Stallings.
She is survived by her three sons and their wives, Fred and Constance Stallings of Charlotte, Eugene and Linda Stallings of Denver and Andrew and Peggy Stallings of Weddington; grandchildren Lauri Baker and husband William of Denver, Amy Peterson and husband Andrew of Denver, Megan Stallings of Port Huenimi, CA and Andrew and Matthew Stallings of Weddington; 3 great-grandchildren Payton Baker, Lily and Nathan Peterson all of Denver; sister Genie Reynolds of Winston Salem.
A service will be held on Friday, April 6th, at 1PM at the First United Methodist Church, 501 North Tryon St, Charlotte. Parking is available in the church parking lot or the parking deck.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist, POB 31603, Charlotte, NC, 28231 or to Levine-Dickson Hospice House, 11900 Vanstory Dr, Huntersville, NC 28078.
