Bobby Ray Baucom CONCORD - Mr. Bobby Ray Baucom, 80, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015, at his home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 4-6 pm, at Wilkinson Funeral Home, and be at the home the remainder of the time. A private family burial will be held at St. James Reformed Church Cemetery. Bob was born on December 19, 1934 in Union Co. to the late T. Leonard Baucom and Lillian Clontz Baucom. He was a member of St. James Reformed Church and was employed by the Concord Light and Water Department for 31 years. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Eudy Baucom; daughters, Patti B. Christiansen and husband, Doug, Kristen B. Evans and husband, Ron "Wheezer"; granddaughter, Hailee Nicole Evans; brother, Terry L. Baucom and wife, Valorie; nephew, Scott Baucom and wife, Brittany; great-niece, Makenna Baucom; special friends, Laura and Gary Carbenia and family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081 or to the Humane Society of Cabarrus County, 2010 Wilshire Court, Concord, NC 28025.
